A letter to Robert M. "Mike" Duncan - Chairman, Republican National Committee

To Robert M. "Mike" Duncan - Chairman, Republican National Committee

Dear Mr. Duncan:

For 43 years I have contributed to the Republican National Committee; during the good times and the bad times. I have worked in grassroots campaigns and on campaign committees. I have served as an elected party official. I belong to groups that have GOP connections.

However for the first time your requests for my contribution to the RNC will go unanswered.

The reason for this is called disloyality. The RNC will distribute my contributions to those candidates who have refused to back the President; back and filled to appease democrats and left wing idiots and who are RINO (republican in name only).

The RNC failed to stop McCain-Fiengold and now is begging money for its existence. May I suggest that the RNC commit itself to a single object; the repeal of McCain-Fiengold. This would give incentives to loyal republicans to return to contributing to the RNC. Suggesting to Senator McCain that he introduce the repeal bill might just save his failing nomination bid.

I write this here; because there is no method to get to this you by any other method.

The Bird Feeder

A man bought a bird feeder. He hung it on his back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week he had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of his patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table... everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb the man and try to peck him even though he had fed them out of his own pocket. The birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanding that he fill the feeder when it got low on food.

After a while, the man couldn't even sit on his own back porch anymore.

Well, the man took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. He cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be ... quiet, serene and no bird demanding its right to a free meal.

The lesson to be learned . . . . The US gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen; even if their parents crossed into this country illegally minutes before the birth. So the illegals came by the millions; some were drug dealers and terrorists.

Suddenly . . Our taxes went up to pay for free services.

Small apartments intended to house a single person are housing 5 families. You have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child's broken arm waiting attention behind illegals colds and flu. Your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box.

You have to press "one" to hear your bank speak in English.

People waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and freebies.

These same people while in the US; pledge allegiance to a foreign country while propping up that country's economy with money sent from illegal jobs stolen from US citizens.

It's time for the United States Congress to take down the bird feeder.

Not if Speaker Nancy Pelosi can prevent it; but you knew that right! Here is her web site so you can thank her for keeping the bird feeder up !

Rules for Civilians

It is becoming fashionable and politically correct to again attack the military as criminals and falsehood tellers but here are a few of the areas where Veterans would like your assistance:

1. The next time you see an adult talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem---kick their ass.
2. When you witness, firsthand, someone burning the American Flag in protest---kick their ass.
3. Regardless of the rank they held while they served or what war they were in, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a disabled veteran kicks their ass.
4. If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDUs) or Jungle Fatigues, telling others that you used to be "Special Forces," and collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay when you were seven years old. Now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.
5. Next time you come across an Air Force member, do not ask them, "Do you fly a jet?" Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an
ass kicking (children are exempt).
6. If you witness someone calling the US Coast Guard 'non-military', inform them of their mistake---and kick their ass.
7. Don't ever say that some one went into the Navy to avoid "the real war", The most dangerous job in the military is on a flight deck. Working 72 hour combat ops on all Navy ships is normal and expected. Such ignorance deserves an ass kicking (children are exempt).
8. Next time Old Glory (the US flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her---of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass kicking.
9. Don't try to discuss politics with an active military member veteran. The Chain of Command includes the Commander-In-Chief (CinC). The President (for those who didn't know) is our CinC regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives meet. All they know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, the politicians call upon the military to go straighten it out. If you keep asking them the same stupid questions repeatedly, you will get your ass kicked!
10. Bin Laden and the Taliban are dedicated Isalmists, so stop saying if we just wouldn't be so mean they would like us and leave us alone. You are so stupid that obviously you didn't study world history in high school and for that alone you need your ass kicked.
11. Stop asking where Bin Laden is! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. And the Irag WOMD are in Syria; there are satalite photos of them being moved there which were published on TV and thousands of web sites.. If you say there were no WOMD you deserve to have your ass kicked.
12. 'Flyboy' (Air Force), 'Jarhead' (Marines), 'Grunt' (Army), 'Squid' (Navy), 'Puddle Jumpers' (Coast Guard), etc., are terms of endearment we use to describe each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. That could get your ass kicked.
13. Whether or not you were a member of the military, support our troops and their families Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends, please remember that there are literally thousands of soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day.Without them, our country would get it's ass kicked."
14. Remember this often repeated reminder from Veterans or we will kick you ass.

"It is the Veteran, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.

It is the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.

It is the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.

If you can read this, thank a teacher If you are reading it in English, thank a Veteran; it could be in German, Japanese or Russian; and one quarter of the world wants it to be in Arabic "

PS: If you are an immigrate to the USA; no matter how you got in; and don't know how to speak English; ask a veteran for help; he/she would be honored to help.

AWARDS

Al (I know more than you do even if you are an environmental scientist) Gore; (also known as "I invented the internet") Gore or (don’t ask me about my carbon foot print from my 3 houses and my private jet) Gore got the Noble peace prize today.

This is not about that specifically however; it’s about the politicalization of awards.

The Grammy for the best country music song of the year went to the Dixie Chicks; for a song that was played exactly 76 times on country music stations and was 699 on the Billboard top country hits and 1012 on the CMA top country hits. But the Grammy voters wanted to send a zinger to those Bush supporters who put the Dixie (we will disrespect our country in a foreign land) Chicks out of the music business; which these dishonest voters did.

Then comes the Oscars and the Golden Globes; Al gets the documentary award for a film that the British, Australian and New Zealand governments will not allow to be shown in their schools unless a companion film is shown where scientists (who actually have degrees and CV’s) point out the numerous scientific errors in the Al (I really want the adulation) documentary. By this the Oscar and Golden Globes con men score two zingers for the ‘we will get even for the 2000 election’ crowd.

Now the Noble peace committee repeats the same error; because they are an international group of ‘we really hate the fact that the US (and by extension the Bush administration) is the most powerful nation in the world when it should be us because we legalized and provide public funds for abortion; prostitution and addictive drug use’.

What this means is that no such award of the past, no such award in the future will ever be given the respect it might have deserved. Just as Barry Bonds’ record will forever be suspect; every one of these awards ever given or to be given will be and are suspect.

Point of interest: Noble prize money comes from the estate of the inventor of dynamite. Dynamite is nitro glycerin in a suspended form in material that makes it safer to handle. Most of it is now made in the US. The manufacture of it causes green house cases 6.8 times the weight of the final product. Yes it is still used; primarily in mining but a durative is used in weaponry. Now if Al is really interested in cooling the environment maybe the money he gets from the prize will be used in his next documentary to tell about how to stop this green house gas emitter.

Sure; and I just won the Irish lottery.

Damn Yankees

They are gone; and probably Joe Torre too.

The Royals should have a call into Joe right now; tell him that he won't make as much money in KC but he will work for a much nicer owner with much nicer fans.

He is one guy (Frank White is another) that can oversee a building process that the Royals want to commit to.

However go D'BACKS!

Evil triumphs where men do nothing

Recently the US Episcopal Bishops finished a meeting where they were given a chance to step back from a final break with the Anglican Communion. Of course if they did that would mean they would not be able to preach that homosexuality is morally correct. {Don't bring up any of that Bible stuff; the Bible is such old hat and it really isn't anything but a nice story.}

I am not going down that well worn pathway in this post. I am going to tell you how this happened. As you can expect it didn't happen over night. This is a clear and perfect example of ""All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke).

In the early 1970s those who had led the Episcopal Church since World War II started to pass away. Their children took over. These were the children who never were required to test their metal; except for Vietnam. And then in the face of that challenged they weakened and succumbed to a religion that was not permitted to have boundaries. They brought this new religion to the Episcopal Church. They mouthed the words of an old liturgy until they got a new one that didn’t require boundaries. {Now I actually liked the new liturgy because I never heard the old one. The liturgy isn’t the point; they didn’t like boundaries.} The premise was that “there is no sin”; thus no sinners.

This is called the dogma of openness. “We must be an open church!” So no longer did one have to confess sin and resolve to sin no more because sin was obsolete. And those who didn’t believe the dogma thought that church would always be the same. They did nothing. They didn’t serve on committees or boards or even give oversight to those who did.

The purveyors of this new dogma took control of vestries; which led to control of dioceses, which led to control of general conventions. Finally they had control of discernment committees. These are the portals to the ordained priesthood. If one didn’t ascribe to the new dogma of openness; one was not “discerned” to be worthy of ordination.

The seizure of the church was complete. It is not a Christian church; it is a Open church.

In 1970 the number of people who called themselves Episcopalians was around 11% of the population; in 2000 that number was 0.9%. It continues to drop.

When the Anglican Communion cuts the Episcopal Church off; the openness dogma will have reaped what it has sown.

"Liberty"

Recently my son-in-law and I had a discussion about the war. He thinks it is a waste of resources so that Bush and his friends "can profit" from the war. It got me to thinking.

What is the common thread that runs through all of the wars that the US has participated in?

Its liberty!

In each case we fought to give humanity relief from tyrannical and oppressive policies. When the US forgot that in Vietnam we succumbed to our own baseness; the "me" philosophy. If it doesn't effect {and sometimes affect} "me" it is not right. This is what separates liberals and conservatives. If you don't see the difference; there is not enough space here to explain it. You were asleep in American history class and you must go back and learn our history.
