Definition of "Diverse views"
If you don't know what a diverse view is; this will help:
Destroy America and its values is a diverse view.
Anti-semitic is a diverse view.
Destroy Israel is a diverse view.
Anything a Hollywood liberal (or a host on the view) says is a diverse view.
Any speech defaming Christians or Christ is a diverse view.
Recruiting graduates to the military services is not a diverse view.
Any speech that might indicate that George Bush ever did anything right is not a diverse view.
Any speech that even hints that the war on terror just might be essential to our survival is not a diverse view.
Recalling historical documents from Islam that indicates that all Islam is radical is not a diverse view.
Suggesting that there just might be some conservative black and Hispanic politicians is not a diverse view.
Oh; and that Hillary might be the most dangerous president ever to be elected is not a diverse view.
So at Columbia University and other Universities you will find the above diverse views but of course not any of those non- diverse views.
Its called selective application; if it is line with what our professors think its free speech; if not it is to be suppressed. Here is a suggested test; ask the Iran crazy one question: "Is it your position that Hitler was justified in killing 6,000,000 Jews"? If they ask the question they support truly diverse views if they don't then there is no other conclusion.
I bet Bill O'Reilly would ask that question!
HDTV
My 20" 22 year old plain old TV gave up the ghost last week. Without a TV how can I keep up with Politics, NFL, MLB, NASCAR, "Saving Grace, "NCIS", History Channel and just who is mad at who today. Well I can't!
As you probably know the FCC has ruled that TV stations must turn off their analog broadcasts in 2009 and broadcast in digital format only. If you have cable or satellite they too will bring most of their feeds in digital and HD. So it is not that you have a choice or not to go to HDTV; that has all ready been decided by those nice people at the FCC (I am a licensed amateur radio operator so I want to say really nice things about them so they don't send me a nasty gram.}
To the point. I have been out looking at HDTVs. The first thing you have to do is get past the sticker shock. OK; get pass that. Now there are at least 10 different technologies you have to understand to know if you are getting the HDTV right for you. I won't list them here because if I do I might be tempted to try to explain them. No way am I going to do a lemming over the brink for that.
I was telling a friend about this event and the search for the right HDTV; she said that when the time comes that her plain analog TVs no longer work that she will just listen to the radio. Stupidly I told her that the friendly FCC is considering making FM stations broadcast only digitally. Now I don't know when to leave well enough alone. She said that she would read the newspaper; sorry at the rate newspapers are disappearing the only ones that will exist at the end of the next decade are those that only have the grocery and auto dealer adds in them.
Its the internet and HDTV for America; tide, time and digital waits for no one!
NFL, MLB, NASCAR, "Saving Grace, "NCIS", History Channel are trademarks of their respective owners.

I can't believe the gall of this guy!
My suggestions:
1. Let him drive there in an open convertible.
2. Arrest anybody trying to protect him with a firearm under New York's at last reasonable law firearm registration law; a real violation of the second amendment.
3. Bury his body in one of the mass graves in Irag so he will always have a presence there.
or
have Chuck Shummer talk to him and bore him to death.
And last not least have the US withdraw from the UN, seize the building as payment against all of the parking tickets that are unpaid by UN delegates; and give every delegate from a country that doesn't like us an hour to get out of the US. Oh and don't let them take anything at all from this country they hate so much.
Now that is how we do things in the heartland.

Considering the Choices
Mitt R. is my favorite right now; I can align with his family values and I think we need a business executive for the next eight years to keep the economy strong. I have trouble with some of his "I had to say this to get elected in MA stuff" even though as a long time political operative I understand it. http://www.mittromney.com/
Fred T. is a true conservative so that makes him a second favorite but I need to see if his campaign organization can come together enough to convince me he can beat the "I just want to be the most powerful woman on earth and I don't care who I have to kill to do it" candidate.http://www.fred08.com/
John M. impresses me with his stand on the war and immigration (I know I might lose my conservative credentials by being for a rational immigration policy but I am taking the chance) but I can't forgive him for the absolutely stupid campaign finance law he pushed through. That might just be the best way to destroy a democracy.http://www.johnmccain.com/
Rudy G. is impressive but either you are Roman Catholic or you aren't; there is no in between. http://www.joinrudy2008.com/
I like Huckaby from Arkansas because he is like me; just a Heartland Christian; but he is not scoring big in the party or the polls. Thanks to McCain - Fiengold organizations that want a Christian president can't help one who is running.http://www.mikehuckabee.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Home.Home
Ron Paul needs a psych consultation.
The rest are just the rest. Also thanks to McCain-Fiengold we can't help our black and Hispanic stars. Thanks for nothing John.
I keep getting requests for financial support from the RNC; for the first time in my life I am not giving to the RNC because they are required to distribute to turn coats along with loyalists. However I am not so required. http://www.rnc.org/
Difficult choices!
Oh; if you want to call those debates go ahead; but they would shame Abe Lincoln!

Next Year on the J&E Riggin

It's over a year away but daughter Nan and I have already started to plan a trip to the J & E Riggin, the Maine windjammer Schooner that we both love. We not only love the boat but all of the people that are associated with it.
Jake (middle grandchild) wants to go so we are looking at the options for this. A family cruise might just be the ticket (no pun intended).
I love race week so I might have to go twice; just don't know yet. Race week is really a lot of fun because that is when the Riggin Relics are aboard (between us there are nearly 300 trips).
Watch this blog for more postings about the J & E Riggin; as it is one of my favorite subjects.

Getting ready to sail!

Race Week on the J. E. Riggin
Its getting close to race week on the J & E Riggin. My daughter, granddaughter and myself will leave on the 30th for race week. The excitement is great and growing.
Watch for blogs after our return on July 8. Pictures will be up on Flixer too.
J & E Riggin
Where are we headed?
Mean while Islam again is following its foundations that direct and compell it to destroy Christianity and its precurser Judaism.
Where should we go? I believe we as evangelical Christians have no choice but to form political parties through out the world that have one political goal; protection of Christian foundations.

- HRH Elizabeth II visits the US
-
For those of us of English decent having the Queen in the country is a special time. although my ancestors were loyalists during the Revolution we are very much American today.
I wonder how many of us reflect during her visit on our English heritage; not only our language is English but our legal system is based on English Common Law.
Section 1.101 of the Missouri Revised Statues says that English Common Law is in fact the statutory law of the State.
We know she won't be with us much longer so this is most likely her last visit to the US.
"God save the Queen"
My granddaughter is named after both of the Elizabeths.

I am thinking about race week on the J & E Riggin.
My daughter Nancy; granddaughter Libby (Elizabeth; named for the queen but that is another entry) and myself are booked and confirmed for race week on the J & E Riggin Maine Adventure Sails.
My annual week on the Riggin is something I look forward to every year and my life kind of centers around that time. Someday I am going to figure out a way to make the Riggin and Maine be more than 1/52 of my time. (Living in a Democrat state is a real problem for me; I might just go there to bug 'em.)
This will be my 12 th time and Nancy and Libby 2nd time. So we are all Riggin Repeaters now. However being a Riggin Repeater is not that special; most of their passengers are Riggin Repeaters.
Race week is the week when all of the Maine Schooners get together and have a race. The race runs for the entire day and the passengers get really into it.
Of course the week includes stops at some really great Maine sea coast towns like Casteen, Stonington and other places. And then there is the Lobster shore lunch which folks really like (unfortunately I have a shell fish alergy so I have never partaken).
However I am excited and counting the days.
More later~~

The Unites States Attorney General
Liberal democrats think that any minority person who throws off the victim mentality and become a success through hard work and education is to be despised.
That is what this is about and only what it is about. They want to use their majority for revenge not for renewal like they told the American voter.

Dangerously Incompetent
Do you notice that those words are spilling out of Democrats far and wide? On Sunday in 3 hours the words appeared on 6 Sunday talk shows.
But the democrats have not told us how things will be better when they have their chance. How will they deal with Syria and Iran who through their support of the insurgency are literally attacking Iraq?

Biased Media
Yesterday in West Virginia when an audience member flat out stated that the media are biased against the war on terror and military in general she got a standing ovation. No clips of this part of the speech telecast appeared on the 3 big polluters of the airway. On that; with their ratings falling for their nightly news casts how long will the networks support these albatross on their bottom line?
